Process Technician Job Summary
The ROCKWOOL stone wool insulation production process is something that has continued to be refined over time often with the input of Process Technicians. As a Process Technician at ROCKWOOL you will schedule and perform regular maintenance, cleaning and repairs of all equipment while also ordering machine parts and upgrading equipment to optimize line performance, documenting all machine maintenance along the way. You will be expected to provide technical expertise to the value stream and maintenance teams and take the lead on tasks that will lean on your project management and automation programming skills. You will be instrumental in the planning and develop projects encompassing process improvements, provide training to factory personnel, create work instructions and safe work procedures, and assist the factory in troubleshooting process issues. In the Process Technician role, you will be responsible for supporting areas of the manufacturing operation including curing, packaging and logistics.

The employee must frequently lift, carry, push or pull up to 60 pounds and/or occasionally lift, carry, push or pull up to 120 pounds with another person, shovel heavy waste to shoulder height.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
