External Wall DD Slab

External Wall DD (Dual Density) Slab for external walls is manufactured using Dual Density technology. The outer surface of each slab features a higher density than the underside providing a firm surface for the application of fixings, while the underside can accommodate unevenness in the substrate. Pre-installation trials are recommended to determine that the level of unevenness in the substrate can be covered without gaps forming between slabs.

Once installed and tightly joined together, the edges knit together, providing a continuous insulating layer of trapped pockets of air with no gaps and no associated loss of thermal performance.¹
